SHOW & SHINE - 14 Sept 2015

Some of our quilters have been busy over the summer!

There were 10 Projects shown by 6 Quilters.
Great job ladies!

Linda Scott
Linda came up with this design herself.  The fabric for this quilt is from Imagination Unlimited in Cardston.  A simple quilt design that makes a beautiful finished product.  Love that fabric!

Sylvia Pankhurst
This quilt of soft and subtle colours is in a pattern that shows the fabric to advantage.

Carla Van Bezooyen
The pillowcase & tablerunner were made with the leftovers from this quilt.  Welcome back to the guild Carla!

Judy Salmon
     A quilt for her son-in-law.

Sharon Quinton
All of Sharon's quilts were machine quilted by Barb Sheen.

Strip-Made Triangles Quilt.

Barb's machine quilting on this quilt is shown to advantage from the back.

Five & Dime
This quilt is made with 5" and 10" squares, hence the name.  The edges are raw and will ruffle and fluff out after washing.

Raw Edge Scrappy Quilt made with B/W/Y.
This quilt was started in Judy Barnett's class.  The pattern for this quilt is available on this blog.  If you like this quilt, check it out.  This photo has been added to the pattern instructions as another example.
The fabric for this quilt was purchased from Imagination Unlimited in Cardston.

Barb Sheen's lovely machine quilting on this quilt is in a cracked glass pattern.  That pattern is perfect for this quilt!

Dawn Collins
Tablerunner
This kit was won by Dawn in June at the last guild meeting. She thanks the guild for this wonderful kit.
