SHOW & SHINE -- June 2014

The last quilt guild meeting of the year had six quilters showing 8 projects, (12 if you count the pillow shams and pillow covers separately).

1.  Raeola Baker
      a.  This is the quilt that was displayed in Village Quilts.  It's difficult to tell but there are buttons holding the white triangles down.  This quilt is in relaxing, soft colours.  Love it!

      b.  This is Raeola's valium quilt.  Beautiful job Raeola!

2.  Alice Sheen
     a.   I'm trying to recall if these quilts were made for Alice's grandchildren.  She made pillow shams and a pillow cover to complete the set.  Wonderful!

     b.  Here is the second quilt plus pillow shams set.  Nice colours and wonderful construction.  Alice, you always do such a great job.

3.  Dawn Collins
     a.  This shows a very serious me with my first project while in the quilt guild.  The mother of the little boy that received this crib quilt loves modern looking décor.  It was kinda fun to make.  The quilt is called "Fractured Hexagons".

4.  Jane Cahoon
     a.  Novelty prints for this baby quilt is all about the rodeo. Fussy cut images show rodeo clowns and cowboys.  Neat!

5.  Gail Erickson
     a.  Gail always makes extra large quilts.  They are spectacular!

6.  Sylvia Pankhurst
     a.  I'm taking a guess here.  If I'm wrong, quilters please let me know.
"Bricks" throw quilt.  I think this is a quilt top only.
